So while i was at lube express today some guy approached me about my car and was talking to me about his friends STI and how he removed the whole interior and is going to race it.

He said that he is looking to sell both the front and rear seats, and was looking for 800 for em. Needless to say i was stoked because that is a damn good price right (how much do these go retail). I got his number and and am going to call him in the next couple of days. The seats have about 3k miles on em.

I have run in to a slight problem when i told my dad (im 19 and he bought the car for me so he should have input on the decision) and he doesnt think it would be a good idea because how was i going to install them and was telling me that it would depreciate my car. I said if anything it would make the car go up in value.


I am going to pay for em myself if i get them but was wondering how hard the installation is and what extra stuf i would need to get these seats in. What do you guys think i should do, i really cant let this pass me up.




**oh also my car is a 2002 2.5rs, so would there be any problem getting these installed in my car?

 

lol stolen, didnt think of that, but i dont believe they were stolen as he was talking to someone at the lube express about his friend who owns the sti and how he is loaded and his parents bought him the sti and such. So do you guys think this is a good deal, and is there a guide on how to install these seats somewhere and do they they fit right onto my seat rails/sliders?
