In The 1993-2001 What Motors Was Offered

i just wanted to know what motors was offered in the 93-01 subaru

I am looking to do a jdm 2.0 turbo swap i love the look of the 1993-2001 imprezas i want to do the swap and want to know witch platform will make my life easier. i am not new to motor swaps. i used a to have a civic with a integra motor and now i am driving a nissan nx200 with a awd jdm motor. (bluebird)

if you feel i need to know any info on makeing this swap happen please send me the links

by the way why isn't there a motor swap section forum?

Lets see, I believe that a 93-98 Impreza came with a 1.8L or 2.0L. The 98-01 2.5RS came with a 2.5L motor, while the L came with a 2.0L. A 2.5RS will probably be your best option.

Replace 2.0 with 2.2
