The guys over at Custom Exotica offered something to the BAIC
They have offered to throw a BBQ on a Saturday for the BAIC.
They want to show off their new product Crystal Guard.
They did the same thing for my350z.com and I guess that it was a huge success.
I used the Crystal Guard Quick on my car, and I am VERY impressed.
Is there any interest? It is worth coming out just to check out the:
Lamborghini (2002, I don't know the model)
Ferrari Modena 360 Spider
BMW M8
Beautiful Black Track Model 350Z
He said that they would do drawings for some free detail jobs too. They are trying to get their name out there.
Just guaging interest.
Thanks,
Andy

Crystal Gaurd vs. Zaino Bros.
BADWRX,
How would you say the finish is compared to ZAINO Bros. I know you mentioned that Zaino's was a hassel, but I just wanted to know overall what your opinon on the crystal Guard. How does it apply and does it come off easy?
I'm assuming this is a polish/wax, if not.....Duhhhhhh on me.
Thanks,
Bill

I think, honestly, that it kills it. It is a polymer. Basically, a glass. I went by there today with my friend, and he picked some up. You should see it, they have this 70's Japanese old beater, and just used the Quick, and it looks better then new.
Here is the only drawback that I can find, and it is not even really a drawback:
You had better make damn sure that you car has no imperfections before applying. I accidentally used a stupid carwash brush on my car the other day, and it scratched the hell out of my paint job. I know, I am a dumb $hit.
Well, I applied the Crystal Guard over it, and if you look real close, you can see the scratches. But it shines like a *****!
Other than that, I would say that it is FREAKING AWESOME. I think that the best solution is to do the full Zaino treatment, and then Crystal Guard over the top of it. This is probably the best solution, in my opinion. I will know soon. I have a BRAND NEW Civic that I have been Zainoing for the last too weeks. Tomorow I am going to wash it, and then Crystal Guard it. I have a feeling that it is going to be nothing short of astonishing.
This stuff has only been out for about 6 weeks. It is catching on on the car clubs like wildfire. I am a firm believer now that I have tried it.
Just Amazing.
If you are a doubter, lets hook up this cookout, and they will demo it, and feed us, and it will be a good time?
(NO I AM NOT AFFILIATED IN ANY WAY!!!, I JUST THINK THIS STUFF NEEDS TO BE DISCOVERED!!!)

Thanks BadWRX,
I have been using Zainos Since 2000 and of all the polish, maybe Zymol, nothing comes close. Other than the cost I have been pretty satisfied with the zainos. Can't keep enough feildcrest towels around. I wonder how the crytal guard would react to the zainos treatment.... I'll have to wait until someone trys it.
Any idea on the cost of this stuff?

Zeob,
Yeah, it's priced right up there with the Zaino's product. I'll need to do more homework before I decide to cut over since the Zainos is like drug dealing. Once you get hooked on their line, you keep buying it for the maint.
I wouldn't mind trying on the Bimmer. I never found any polish/wax that worked well for that finish.
