I have a 2002 RS that I am currently converting to a WRX/STI, I have all of the driveline parts done and I am currently working on the exterior upgrades. I haven't seen any pictures of this done and I need help on the proper emblems used on the trunk. Can someone please post what the 2002 WRX emblem is supposed to look like. I can't find a decent picture and I have seen several different versions of the emblem. Thanks for your help, otherwise I will have to find a local 2002 WRX to see what it should look like.

 

The only difference on the trunk is the 2.5RS badge is replaced with a WRX badge (with a BLUE background) in the same spot.

 

Great, thanks. Just to clear things up with the year and styles, what year did these two emblems come out, or is one of them not even a true emblem? I found both on Ebay.

 

The left one is from around 95 to 99 on GC8 WRX in Japan.
The right one is GDA (02 and up in US) WRX, not STi.

 

What did the 2002 STI emblem look like? Was it the same as the WRX with the STI logo on the right like the 2004? Or totally different.
