Uhm yeah, I dunno why you're giving thanks for guys, but anyway...

The rotors won't work in the rear ... the rear rotors have an internal drum brake in there.

Parking cable, just buy it from the dealer, unless you can find a good one at the j-yard, I guess.

It's easiest if you just change everything from the half-shaft out.

Good luck with the conversion! It's a pain in the ****, but worth it! When I went back to buy my third Impreza, disc brakes in the rear were a mandatory. Since I couldn't find a '96 LX, that pretty much left me with the RS.

Nope

The rear drum to disk conversion will need a different rotor than the fronts were.
The e-brake assembly needs a deeper dish rotor to work. Take a look a newer Suby and you will see.

Notice in the picture below, the rotor on the right has a two step center section. This is for the e-brake pads to engage from the inside around the hub. The rotor on the left is a front rotor.

You might also run into trouble with the stock knuckle, so more parts might be needed. Here is a link to a conversion done by LIC motorsports here in the North Bay.

You would need WRX knuckle's, brake lines, rotors, calipers, etc...nothing on your drum brake setup will work.

*your best bet is to get a whole rear disc brake setup from the junk yard, i have attached a picture, this is what you want to get for simplicity

If you need assistance in finding one I can generally get the pieces/or complete and then put together for you if needed, then all thats left is slapping it in...

Yeah, B&N in the bay area has (had?) stock, as do a few independent newsstands.
