help on my98 impreza l to rs front brake conversion
I am new to subarus an i was wondering if i could convert the impreza l front brakes to the rs brakes. If it is possible can anyone tell me the parts needed for the conversion. I have a 1998 subaru impreza L sedan with a 2.2l engine. thanks!

You need the Calipers, pads, and rotors. Since you're doing that, I would pick up a set of Goodridge stainless stell brake lines at the same time. Also, if your car has rear drum brakes, I would swap those out with RS brakes too.
Are you getting an extra good deal on the RS brakes? Because the WRX brakes are only a little more expensive and still fit under 16" wheels.

I believe that the front brakes on the 98 Impreza L are the same as on the 98 Impreza RS. I know that Subaru did not change the calipers for many years and in 98 they all ran the same size at the front. I believe that the pads of the 02WRX(and only 02 calipers) will work with the smaller RS brake setup.

So then what are the possible brake upgrade I can do to my98 impreza l in the front and the rear? I am wondering because I myself like to speed alot and need some what better stoping power. I would appreciate it if any one can fill me in on what i can do to help my car stop a little more faster.
