Best place to tap in for a Boost gauge??

Since I wasn't going to pay $230 for the Subaru boost gauge, I called Summit and got an Autometer sport comp gauge and A pillar mount for $80. Now I just need to install it. It looks like I can plumb it right off of the EGR valve, is this a good idea or is there a better place? Thanks!!

EGR valve? No such thing. You are probably referring to the bypass valve on the front of the intercooler, which is actually the proper place to connect it. Insert your "T" connector in the vacuum hose that goes to that valve.

that's it. it looked like an egr valve to me (i've been into mustangs/5.0's for years and it looked like a 5.0 egr valve). i'll do that, thanks!!
