98 Impreza Sport Help
hi.........Im new here
I have a 98 impreza outback sport.
I need to get into the interior switch for the rear window defroster.
(to replace the bulb that lights up the icon).
Do i need to remove the cup holder first ,,,,,and then what?
has anyone done this before?

Car Info: 2001 Sedona Red OBS / 2016 FXT Touring
i have a 2001 OBS, even though they are different i think that that part of the car is very similar. when i did it (i too had the rear defrost and hazard icon bulb go out, never fixed) i pulled the cup hold out, in the ready to use position. this created a gap big enough for me to get ariund the button with your finger enough to pull it out. it was really easy. let me know how it goes, i am also very interested on how to change that bulb of if the whole thing has to be replaced. how it works out
