I've seen one at PepBoys. Not sure if you have that where you are. It's called mini something. As far as it beening online with the 03 WRX, I don't think it will fit in the existing location. It does come with an adapter for the wiring.
problem is, the antenna needs to be around 31". this is tuned to be in the middle of the FM band.
when you see stubby antennas, like a convertible 3 series BMW i see at work, they coil the antenna element around the stubby mast.
if you wanna loose that antenna on the roof, consider the windshield stick-on type.
