Car Info: A car with 4 wheels and a boxer engine.
Inside the fender or front bumper on the passenger side, there should be a gray plug. It's obvious and it's the DRL's. Just unplug it and you're done. But if anyone thinks I'm wrong, then correct me.

I removed the module inside the engine bay. Unfortunately I don't have access to a car that still has it in, otherwise I'd post a picture.

Some say that removing the module in the engine bay doesn't work. On my 2002 it DID do the job.

i found a thread on 3gwrx. basically on the 08 (which i have) you can remove the stock airbox and underneath where it sits towards the front of the bay area is a grey clip that you simply unplug. you can also reach it via the wheel well, but you'dd still need to remove the liner, so either way you are removing a couple bolts.

some people have reported CELs, but they didn't disconnect the battery before doing this. i plan on doing this tomorrow.
