i have an 03 suby 2.0 with GT 30R turbo thats going out with shaft play..also have sti pink injetors,hks up pipe downpipe, hks front mount, hks intake, custom S figured intercooler piping, hks bolw off valve.. also using turboxs Eutec but cant find anyone to tune so probably going to go cobb..or reflash

im thinking of getting a new turbo with bigger injectors what do you think would be the best turbo and injetors..thanks

 

LIC motorsports said GT 35R turbo with 740 injectors...what does anyone else think..im trying to stay around 5000$

 

Definitely going to need bigger injectors than pinks to push that GT30. Is this a stock 2.0? A lot of people with GT35s can't break 12s lol. Are you still on the stock tranny?

yea im on stock tranny and only thing on motor is forged pistons..but yea ive talked to LIC, GST, and ED at EQ tuning there all saying the same about GT 35R and 740 injectors..and ed added meth..

You will also need a Sti 6 speed and at least some 800cc injectors. Hitting 12's and under is not a east thing to do. Good luck!

Lighten the car by 300+ lbs, strip out everything you can, ditch the spare etc., get better tires, lightweight battery, lexan rear window, get rid of passenger and rear seat, stereo, A/C, windshield washer tank, speakers, etc.

If that seems a little extreme, do some research on how many mostly-factory, streetable 4-door cars are 12 second cars. You will find that list to be very, very short.

so what does anyone think about about new GT30R with,CA 91 octane,and 850cc injectors..

 

Get the recert kit for the hks bov so it converts it from a bov to a bpv. Bpv will help keep that big snail pre-spooled between shifts. Lets see this intercooler piping of yours....

 

i dont think our 2.0 can spin a 35r until its pretty much too late haha

you can squeeze it to make it spool but i dont think your motor is set up for that
