how too trannys?
shop manual comes in handy... remove the center caps from the wheels and break the 32mm nut loose from the axle, remove the front wheels, remove intercooler and y-pipe, starter (dont forget to disconnect the battery), slave cylinder, pitch mount, exhaust, driveshaft (plug the tranny or drain the fluid), shift linkage, remove the struts from the knuckles, and disconnect the sway bar from the lower arm, remove the pins out the axles and then remove the axles, remove bell housing bolts and remove the 10mm hex plug on the driver side of the bell housing near the starter, remove the clutch fork shaft, and pull the fork off the throwout bearing, put a jack under the tranny, remove crossmember, remove transmission.. i think i got everything
Best way to do this is in order.
first pull the intercooler off, starter off, slave cylinder off, pitch mount, full exhaust, pull fork out of the TOB.
Then drain the tranny fluid, remove the tires, remove axles, remove drive shaft.
Then start unbolting
that basicly it in a nutshell....

Don't pull the axles out of the hubs. you can either pull them off the tranny after the spring pins are out and you slide the tranny back as far as it will go or just crack the lower ball joint and take off sway bar end link and swing whole hub strut assembly out to pull axle off trans. then you can put it back together and still roll car around if you have to.
