need to replace mine. im not to familiar with working on engines, and i dont want to mess anything up. it would cost $600 dollars to replace(db tuned) and i would rather do it my self. or even better have somebody help me.

if your getting a rubber unit i suggest perrin since they have added a wire frame to solve the collapse problem. also heard you can install the hard version only on the wrx with out removing the manifold

i did mine

i have an 03 wrx
it was a headache with out taking off the manifold

 

i did mine on an 02 without taking the manifold off and it was a headache too

 

one of the hard parts was the damn allen head screw
