just looking for some tips, i have a 2004 sti with a cold air intake, downpipe, cat back with no cat, and a advertec stage 2 computer reflash, i would like my car to have a even deeper and monster pitch in the exhaust. Do u guys think headers and an up pipe would make any more of a difference in the sound of the exhaust or do i need internals like cam gears? all ur advice is much appreciated, i got 5 months before i get back from iraq and im just trying to put together a good upgrade plan. One more thing, on these cars do u think underdrive pulleys and a bigger throttle body would make anymore of a difference?

 

I have heard that the equal length headers might make your car a little louder, but it takes away from the boxer rumble. I'm not certain though.

Any type of aftermarket headers will make it less deep and more raspy. spend some time on youtube.

Try Invidia, Helix, or Blitz NUR Spec. They're few of the deepest/loudest exhausts out there, but sound awesome.
