My 03 WRX which I started a 5 M/T swap on locked up to where it is unable to roll with the 02 2.5 RS trans I swapped in it and I still need the 4 EAT speed sensor, etc. harness cause we cracked the top wiring plug on the one I had and with the locked up drivetrain I still need a positively working 5 speed trans. that is compatible that I can throw in before Jul. 22nd.

My spare trans is getting built right now, but I should have the 5mt that's currently in my car up for sale soon.

 

i have an 02 wrx trans pulled from my old wrx at 100k miles......needs new syncros, was grinding into 1st gear. other than that, i think it should be ok but we didnt crack it open to check

Picked up my new RA LSD trans today, installing Monday.

 

I have a 04 wrx 5sp tranny which I will be pulling out for a upgrade to a 6sp. Still in the car to test drive if you are interested.

 

yes Mr. Motec I would be very interested if you are on island and doing said swap this weekend because I have to have my nearly done 03's swap done by the 22nd.

What are your terms and mileage on the 04's 5spd if you don't mind, PM me if you'd rather.

remember you will need the rear end from a 5spd wrx with that trans. the final drive on your auto was 4.11, same as a non turbo 5spd. the wrx 5spd final drive is 3.545

 

Thanks all seems well now I got the 5 spd case and rear diff from an 06 wrx on the way so I think I am out of the woods so to speak now
