a repair is limited to drilling a hole at the edge of the crack to keep it from spreading. you will still see the crack unfortunately. basically look at replacing the glass.

cheapest route to go is find your own windshield from a junk yard then take it to someone. New its going to cost you around 250 installed. With a crack that large i think repair is out of the question but i could be wrong.

if you can cover the crack/damage up with a dollar bill its repairable

if its bigger/longer than that you have to get it replaced.

craplite, excuse me, safelite glass will cost you $250 as was previously said.

Safelite quoted me $298 for my 04' WRX without the winter package (you know, those heated wipers, lol.)

No-hookup price.

Unfortunately, that weekend they were booked for at least a week ahead, so I went somewhere else.

ended up going to ace auto today. cost was just a bit over 300 for a replacement. i was surprised to see a lingerie coffee lunch wagon about 2 blocks down. i think i will have to return to that area for an inspection.

thanks for the help people.

Hahah.. across from OCCC .

One day, the inmates were all working outside, checking out the lingerie girls and a big *** van blocked their view. They were outraged! rofl.

you had problems with safelite also? ***ers made a very small rock windshield chip into a big a$s crack....and now, the crack has spread to giant sized...been meaning to repair it also. for some reason, i thought it was more around the $500 price range....
