So I'm going to have the opportunity to replace my clutch soon, whats your favorites? Thinking about just replacing stock with stock, but if you guys can convince me not to I might consider it!

how soon you thinking? call me up i may have some info for you. BTW i'm about to order the ACT HDSS withs streetlite flywheel (and yes for all who ask i have upgraded my tranny to RA gears)

 

If you dont plan on upgrading the 5spd to a 6spd or at least stronger gears in the 5spd, id stay with a stock clutch

 

^^ That's what I'm thinking, and I only have ~50k on my current clutch so I might just resurface my flywheel and call it a day. Maybe new pressure plate? idk..

the question really should be....how much power you plan to make with the new motor? if you are going to stay pretty stock, then stock is fine.

 

^ well that is a good question, but at the same time it doesnt matter how much power your engine can put out, if your tranny is blown

I have a flywheel exedy that will be coming off the car soon. I can't use it on my new motor, so lmk if interested.

 

ACT streetlite + exedy stage 2, working good so far but its a little noisy. On idle and light accel and deccel you can sorta hear the clutch springs chattering.
