Mr GoT,

What if you get all golds for just one license? There's no way I could do that for even the lowest license, but I'm curious.

Also, I'm assuming that as you play and win cars, doesn't that zero out that race as far as winning more cars from that series? For instance, if I get win the FR series and I win a Camaro, then I go back to licensing and then get all golds, can I go back into the FR series and re-win the series and get another car?

Lastly, what's funny is that I've now got a fully modified GC8 STi. It's like 40 bazzilion hp and it doesn't know what negative handling is about since the tail end is as hard or harder to chase than any rwd car.

I've also got a lightly modified NSX. I went to the 'Home' and the 'Run & Setting' and selected the 'Complex String' test course. The Impreza is hard to control and I'm always losing control while the NSX is smooth, and while slower, it never leaves the line I want. The STi still beat the NSX by about 8 seconds.

Then I ran the Mines EVO VI and beat the STi's time. It's slower but handles well and brakes so much better.

Then because I've ran the test course about 8 times (it's about 5:30 minutes per lap) I run the STi again and beat the EVO VI's time by like 14 seconds.

I'm bored.

ok, let me post the car list and explain how it works:

1 - There are individual races and series races in GT3. Individual races, once completed in a set, like Sunday Cup, cannot be done again to win a car. Series races, can be raced over and over again, and so long as you end up with the most poitns at the end, you win a car.

2 - Series races, like the American Championship, can only be raced with specific cars. IE, American, would include Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge / Chrysler, and Acura (dont ask why).

3 - The secret to winning the series, and getting the car you want is simple. Five races, means you need to score 1st in at least 3, and 2nd in the other two: or 1st in 4, and skip the last one: or score 2nd or better in all of them, but making sure the same car doesnt get 1st more than twice.

4 - Once you win the series you get a car. But if you dont want the car you get, you need to SAVE the game after the 4th race (or whichever race is second to last), and then reload it when u dont get the car you want. This is how i got all 8 of the different colored RSX Type-S's. I can give u a step by step, but its complicated and time consuming.

Easiest way to make money, is to do the European championship on Amateur, and load the game until you get the Gillet Vertigo. Once you win it, sell it, for 300k, and you can totally mod any one of the cars you bought. Usually, it will cost about 130,000 to 214,000 to totally mod any given car w/ 2 or 3 sets of tires, which you WILL need for racing. I have actually, got 400 totally tweaked, modded, and tuned cars between the 2 garages. I also have somewhere between 150 and 300 replays stored on various mem cards. Getting gold licenses on everything, and scoring gold on all the arcade races, is a pain in the ***. Just unlocking all the tracks for 2 player in arcade takes 4 hours by itself. Another 3+ hrs for bronze on all licenses and add 9 or 10 days for all gold licenses.

If you need setup and tuning help, please feel free to ask me. I can tune FWD, RWD, and 4WD for drifting and all the same for the circuit races. I can also share my gearing and suspension secrets too if you REALLY want.

oh yea, power to weight ratio, is done in PEAK hp divided by POUND weight.

Camaro Race Car is 592hp and 1160kg

592hp
1160* 2.2= 2552lbs

592/2552= 0.231

Higher the number, the better the acceleration.

its impossible to beat the game in 2 days. Its physically impossible. Period. The endurance races alone would keep you playing past 20 hrs, then the Formula 1 series is like 12 races, 1 hr each... plus theres so many 10 and 15 lap races on professional, it would be impossible to complete those in 10 hrs. Add licensing, Arcade, and Rally, then try to add beginner, and amateur races... Physically impossible. You need time to mod your car and tune it, and theres no way he could have beaten everything first crack.

Two days to complete Gran Turismo 3 is not humanly, or even physically possible without have the game being completed.

Sorry. I'll believe that when me sh*t turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbert

BAH! I could beat the game in about 4 or 5 min. That's about how long it'd take for me to go out to my garage and get my hammer.
