As much as I'd LOVE to see Clarkson, Hammond, and May here in Hawaii, that wouldnt work. Top gear is already doing a Ken Block feature this series remember?

Hey guys,
I'm good friends with the marketing/logistics guy at Vermont Sports Car that manages stuff like this, so let me know if you need anything. I'm at their shop often and will be going to the New England Forest Rally, as well as stopping at the Ojibwe Forests Rally on my drive to the west coast (where I'll put my car on a boat to come join you guys
). Oh, I'm also buddies with the marketing director at Rally America.
I was with the show car just a couple weeks ago, and it's true what bpang1 is saying, it is just a show car... which is a rally car to 90% of the people that look it, the other 10% being subaru enthusiasts.
Anyway, let me know if there's something I can do to help. I'll be out there starting in September.

well i'm still on vacation.

No updates yet on the track to give...other than we've inched a bit further along. Slow process, really. Ugh. Hopefully, in about a month I'll have some news. Thanks all!

I'm trying to convince them to send a rally car and not the show car. It's tough, because the show car could easily just come by itself without a trailer, where as a rally car probably couldn't. I have a meeting with another one of the marketing guys there after he gets back from X, so I'll bring it up to him.
