I regret taking my car to get painted buy subaru Only thing they did do alright was match the paint but they left a good amount of dust ( since it wasn't in an enclosed paint area) on my paint area. I say go to Theo Davies, never would have had a problem if i had listen to someone here. Oh well its in the past. i don't even car about my paint any more

Don't do it.

My car was there 3 times, had Mr. Schuman involved, and my car has never been the same. Please take my advice and pay for a real paint job. You will be disappointed. Why did I know you where going downtown? Just psychic I guess.

They never fixed

the damage they did. Looked like they washed my car with sandpaper. After three trips, I realized they were incapable of fixing their mistake, and that my car was as good as it was going to get without paying out of my own pocket for a professional job. Run, hide, stay away! I'm not blowing this out of proportion, they stunk.

Hey nobody has asked you yet but did this happen on base or was it near base. If it happened on base then you can file a claim and the base has to pay for it well thats at least how it works on Hickam.

Yeah,

the installation may be liable for some of the damage. Check it out. That darn silver satin is a good guy.

I only know from when my car had gotten broken into at my house the base was going to pay my deductable but I got rid of it before having any work done. Plus my buddy at my last base somebody did a hit an run and the base paid to have his car repaired not his deductable I thought it was weird but he was happy. Just a thought. Well if the base pays for it we all are really paying for it with our taxes so we will be helping him out one way or another.

No,

you're right. I had a friend at Yokota (Japan) that had his mountain bike stolen (on base) and the base paid for it.

I heard it actually comes out of the Security Forces funds because it is their responbility to make sure the base is secure not sure how true that statement is.. I know that if we Funk up something on a aircraft and were not doing it by the book we have to pay for it by having pay deducted.
