I didn't play AC much, but when I did play my friends 2nd account on EQ, that was definately boring.

Me: "So what are we going to do?"
Friend: "We are going on a raid."
Me: "Cool, let's go!"
Friend: "We have to wait for rest of the group."
Me: "Ok"

45 minutes later...

Me: zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Friend: "you ready?"
Me: zzzzzzzzzz

 

Yep - AC is "soloable" - EQ seems to make you MUCH more reliant upon "teaming up" with others. That's what takes so much time. Co-ordinating, waiting, etc. With AC you can jump in - slay some beasties and be out in time for your lunch break to be over... It's more "cartoony" and EQ is more "realistic" if that can ever be said about something set in a fantasy world.
