Repair your car with Oka's Auto Body and help Japan at the same time!

Like all of us, our hearts go out to all the families affected by the Earthquake and Tsunami that hit Japan on March 11, 2011. Day after day of watching the news, it reminds me about what could've happened if a Tsunami actually hit Oahu, and how different our lives would be today. Leila and I of course will be making our own personal donations, but I'm proud to say that our shop will be doing something as well, to give back to the people of Japan. Oka's Auto Body is honored to donate $10 for every car that we repair, starting from March 11, 2011. We're planning on running this donation drive for one month from the date of the Tsunami, and just for reference, we typically repair about 120 cars a month. It's a small donation, but something that I'm very proud to be a part of.

Just ran a report and to date, we've repaired 42 cars since March 11th. The donation so far is at $420.

Thanks Chucky, glad to see you're still around.

So we closed the donations from this fund raiser last week. In that one month time span from March 11th - April 11th, we repaired 153 cars. So, Oka's Auto Body will be donating $1530 to the American Red Cross's Japan relief fund. We also have our annual Golf Tournament coming up this weekend, and hope to raise a little bit more dough as well.

Thanks for all the positive responses guys. We had our golf tournament the other week and was able to raise almost another $3600. All in all, with our original shop donation drive, we were able to donate over $5100 to the American red cross Japan relief fund.
