nope, dont need anymore.. just bring alignment papers and registration and liscense. everything will pass. OoOoOoOooOOOO wait a minute... didnt you clear out your headlights? i dont know if thats gonna pass....as far as wing, i was told you can have a 10 foot high wing if you want and it aint no obstruction of view.. they gave me an example like what if you were to tow a trailer or something? you cant see jack shet from the rear view. thats what the side mirrors are for... anyways, yeah

 

Technically, they're still DOT and OEM. I'm putting amber lights in the cleared area.

I do have reflectors.

Lots of them...just no amber lens thingie around the bulb to make the light turn amber...can easily put in an amber bulb to get the same effect.

Let us know what they tell you...I don't see why we cannot just go and take out the headlight reflectors and put reflectors on our cars on the body or something...I've been looking at a lot of headlights...and I have seen some without reflectors in the headlamp...but on the outside fender area...

I'll try and note down the models of cars that have this...Some cars, I believe have amber side markers instead of the reflectors in the headlamps...

If anyone else notices anything...let us know...I really want to clear out my headlights but do not want to fail safety inspection...

Do I get safety inspection first or recon first? Cause now that the sub is back in port I have to take care of that...

 

Every car has orange reflectors of some sort at the front of the cars. In our cases, the bugeyes have it seperate on the fenders (the sidemarkers are also reflective) and the newer ones have it in the headlight housing (as the cornermarkers are NOT reflective).

Ie: installed aftermarket suspension, dropped, etc...unless it is very unassumable...to save yourself time, get the recon first...otherwise, if the safety inspection station decided to fail you, you would have to go and get it recon'd anyways...make sure they note down your exhaust, wheels, tire size, etc...anything that the police may try and bust you for...

I would get recon anyhow to save yourself some time if and when the police stop you for any "non-stock" reason. You can show them your papers...and hopefully be merrily on your way after the meeting....

 

Yeah I need to call Ryan and get those springs on to raise the car back up some and do that liscence plate mod... what a pain in the butt.
