i'll take full responsibility for no recon. i think its good in one respect(in terms of helping limit the sale of stolen goods) but in another respect its just another form for the state to squeeze more $$ out of us.
as much as i love HPD. show me how many camaros and mustangs that are POV's for patrol and show me their recon sticker for their 3 inch pipes with flowmasters and superchargers and drop springs. along with the front windshield being tinted.
not to blast our men in blue, but i'm sure most of em are cool about recon as long as we aren't ridiculously driving stupid, or have questionable tint(which is possible danger to an unsuspecting person approaching your window)

Malihini question: do cops ride domestics as hard as imports when it comes to recon? What about those big, lifted monster trucks? Just curious

Why would anybody in their right mind invite the wrong kind of police attention by getting illegal tint?
Maybe I'm just old.

Hmm ..well I did have 5% before, but took it off back when they raised the tint fines.. Personally, I hate it when people stare you out. When I drive, I rarely turn my head to look at others .. Some people just plainly gawk at you, eye you out, whatever. Usually at a stoplight you'll see some guy stare at you.
One of the reasons of getting dark tint is to drive comfortably when you want to, I guess.
but anyway, it really helps with keeping the heat out when you use a/c though, among other things.

when i get stared at, i usually casually look over and then throw a shaka. i end up getting a smile or a friendly comment out of it
i like my tint! mainly because i sleep in my car about 3 hours a week
. But if it's going to attract them into looking into other questionable parts on my car, i'll go legal.

We were sent to Recon just for the exhaust....when we got down there they were like you dont need Recon....Recon mainly deals with suspension and rims.....is that tru or not???
