Quieter Exhaust
I have a Perrin Dual Tube CBE in good condition, it has a nice rumble at idle, and once you get on it, it sounds like a monster. For the first 3 years I loved it, but now that I DD my car and commute 20 min each way every day I really need something quieter as my hearing is going to start suffering soon. If I didn't commute over the Pali it wouldn't be an issue because I could just cruise around all silent like, but to get up the Pali I need to get in boost a small bit. I would like to swap out my CBE for a quieter one, however I don't want to take a dip in performance.
Anyone have a decent, 3" ( Real 3", no random 2.5" or 2" deals ) quiet ( Maddad Whisper, Borla Hush, Stromung, Invidia G200 ) CBE that they would like to trade/sell?

You may want to scratch that Invidia off the list. I had one and it was pretty loud. I had a Tanabe that you would've like the sound of, but that one tapers to a 2.5" at the Dp flange.

Run a stock cat back, but install an electric cutout. Filp a switch for power and sound, and filp it again to go back to stock quiet-ness ahhhh...

The SPT seems really quiet. Also, the Cobb and Crawford ones (which I believe are the same) are quiet as well. I had the Crawford on my car for a little while and liked it, but it was too quite for my tastes.
I'd also suggest my Genome, but good luck finding one.

i have a Greddy Evo cbe with double resonator that's been sitting in my garage for a while. one of the best flowing exhaust in the market and just a tad louder than stock. it's a little too quiet for my taste and i may be interested in trading it or selling...oh, and it looks awesome too.

Quiet and performance...
I've had quite a few exhausts since buying my car...and I have to say, the best quiet/power combo was:
a catted Cobb DP and and Greddy EVO2 catback...This made very good power and kept the decibel levels down...consider trading your exhaust for Ted's if you want quiet power...
