question about tint
i believe it's $287 per window although they usually just give you one for the whole car...ceramic 30% will meter illegal as well, windows are not 100% clear so you can't just put 29% thinking that it is right at the limit...anything under 29% - even if it's just 28% - is technically illegal, meaning you can't get a safety check and you can get a ticket if the cop wants to be a ********...alot of cops now days have tint meters...i used to have crazy dark tint but my wife got 2 tickets (driver door and windshield), so i stay on the lighter side now...better that donating $300...anyone have any questions about tint and i'll be happy to try and help you to understand it

i used to tint at Al's...that is the only shop authorized to use the HuperOptik line on cars...that was a while back but at the time we had 20, 30, 40, 60% tint...the darker the tint was the more gold it looked, probably because of the ceramic content...anyways, the 40 was perfect for being on the legal side...if that's the one that you got then you would be ok
solargard also makes ceramic tint now but the darkest that they have so far is 50% (meters about 38)

Al also had a tint that was even more expensive than the huper's....i believe the brand was V Kool ...also a ceramic tint.... go with something within your budget and what your willing to spend on your tint....its not like someone will compliment me saying....oh wow....there goes that car with huper tint...rofl......i just wanted something with a newer technology that resists heat really well within the legal tint law as well as for good optical clarity....
