OT: Free Pop-up blocker??

Help!!!
Popups are driving me nuts!!
I get like 10 popups in just a few clicks.
Can anyone help me with some free popup blocker software??
PLEASE!

use the google toolbar...free popup stopper included...another way that you can stop all the pop ups is to stop looking at ****...

or use the one from www.panicware.com...it's free also...

and for both apps, to get the pop ups to come up, you just hold down the ctrl key...

If you're lazy, Alt-F4 when the windows are active work for me


Especially when like those popups come up in a row, just Alt-F4 a few times until you're back where you're started.

Doesn't really take the place of pop-up blocker software though

Called Popup Ad Filter. Works great...

1. If you have to keep IE (I can't think of any reasons to) then Google Toolbar is great, and offers additional functionality.

2. If you DON'T need to keep IE - go for an alternate browser. My choice is Avantbrowser (tabbed browsing, FAST, built-in popup blocker, cet.), Opera, Firebird, etc...
