Sure! Why not? lol They're pretty cheap. Put two in the dash, one under each front seat & might as well install one in the trunk as well. Just don't push the panic button while you're sitting in the car.

my house. I ended up fixing my "issue" myself. It was a combination of all the things you're experiencing. I hate hack jobs especially when it comes to electrical. I plan on replacing my alarm soon but a something came up and I ended up using the money for other things

what was the out come?

I ended up taking it all out. The fuses were all good even the hacked ones the had in-line. PITA. never seen soo much vampire clips!

yeah, the amount of wire taps and butt connectors on mine are ridiculous. There is so much room under there when there is no aftermarket alarm. Now I have no space.

You can make it activate your stereo and play the "Brown Note"...or whatever one that makes you poop. Or maybe not.
