need help on deciding synthetic atf or non synthetic

need help on deciding synthetic atf or non synthetic

need to decide if im going for royal purple atf (auto trans fliuds) i heard theres some grinding problems maybe too slippery?

what car is this going in to? If this is going into a WRX then there is no grinding issue that I'm aware of. Synthetic fluid is good because it has a higher boiling point than non-synthetic. The grinding issue that you might be referring to is for a manual transmission.

if you can afford the synthetic stuff go with it. If not purchase some cheap stuff to hold you over for a while. you WILL want to replace your front and rear diff fluid at the same time. please do a search I have previously posted information about this

i have an 04 wrx, and i got a quote in a shop $175 for flushing the atf, plus i got to buy the filters (internal/external) and royal purple atf...
