Uppipe and downpipe FM question
hey guys,
I'm thinking about picking up a dc sports up and helix v3 down and was wondering if it is ok to install these without fuel management? Or do I need to get an accessport along with it?
Having hte accessport seems like it would maximize the new mods, but will I be fine without the accessport for a while?

You'll be fine without engine management for just an up and downpipe. I was running equal length headers, CAI, uppipe and full catless turboback with no issues and no engine management. I had a wideband air fuel and EGT gauge and all systems were go. This was on the stock 02 WRX turbo and was potent enough to outrun STIs at open track sessions on lesser tires.

Yeah the Engine Management is somethng that you should get eventually but not absolutely necessary at this stage.
But it should probably be on the list for your next few mods.
