more power for my sti??
just looking for o few tuning tips to get a little more ooompf out of my ride i have a bunch of bolt on parts but what about computer tuning any advise??? i want a little more power but dont want to blow up my car??? any suggestions would be appriciated thanks
People have been organizing Tuning Days down there this year.
Basically, one of the tuners from the mainland comes down to tune cars.
Check around to see if any more are planned in the future. If not, then get a Cobb Accessport or open source software.

Also, if you want to tune your car, you need to explain what kind of driving you want it tuned for

yeah i know all the 06s were dbw but wasnt sure if the us sti models came with it earlier ill keep my eye out for the tuning advise..... coming from a vintage vw background im still pretty untrusting to strangers getting too deep as far as looking into my car but am warming up to the suby crew as they seem to be a bit more mature in the way they drive their cars and treat each other so........ thanks alot for the input oh and also does anyone know how much the cob ap costs???

And I don't know anyone here that would "F" with each others cars, but you gotta trust your gut instinct.

Few things to consider:
1. budget 2. awhp goals 3. intentions with mods (run 12's,11's 10's etc.
If you just looking for a quick mod low level with significant gains.
Vishnu--add a fuel pump(walbro 255psi)---tbe---should be easily in the 12's.
If looking for something faster than that:
Take a look at my set-up
Keep in mind it's all about the tune.
