wow i'm learning a lot about Mitsubishi.
Is Subaru having stuff like this?
I know that a lot of rich people over in cali seem to think Subarus are nothing but junk.

In Europe and Asia, Subaru is actually a real power player. It's got a reputation for reliability, and of course sportiness due to its WRC heritage (most Americans have no idea what WRC even is, at least until recently). Also, Subaru's history is quite interesting; the Japanese TV show "Project X: Innovators" did a story on Subaru's roots (I'm sure gdogg knows the story hehe).
As a side note, Subarus are wildly popular in Hong Kong

Oh, and another Mitsubishi fun fact: there was a limited edition Lancer Evolution V called the "Zero Fighter Edition" -- its theme was, you guessed it, the WWII plane.
It had special badging and some minor dress-up modifications, and there was overall interior theme of the Zero.
Obviously, it sold poorly not only because of its less-than-popular theme, but also because it was about 1.5 times the cost of a Lan Evo V GSR without much of a performance improvement

Dunno about the rest of you guys, but a Sunday night staple of mine is "The L-Word" on Showtime. One of the leads in the show is a recently outed tennis player that is sponsored by Subaru, she got the sponsorship because she is beautiful, athletic and decidedly gay. She drives a Forester 2.5XT.

Wow so much interesting facts for me to remember then probably forget in 10 minutes. Then it will be like reading it all over again.
I kind of guessed that the general American doesn't realize the greatness of the impreza in the wrc. Almost like how America is the only country to not care about soccer.
I don't think Japanese people would be to enthusiastic about the WWII edition since nearly everyone starved to death. I wouldn't want to remember that stuff.
Thanks for the great info
