help???

Can anyone tell me safe boost psi with these mods on 03 wrx up/dp exhust grounding headers vf-30 turboxs tmic ebc?

Safe is 17. Moderately safe is 18, especially since you've got the bigger TM. I don't know what effect the headers would have on your setup, though.

I'd agree with Pat. 18 psi is safe if you've already done the fuel upgrades (injectors, fp).

actually I would stick to about 16.5~17lbs until you actually get your fuel system upgraded.

what about engine management? upgrade your fuel system and get engine management!

Lemme retract what I said. I saw VF30 and made the knee-jerk assumption that you had the fuel delivery/EM upgrades already.

I run conservative

boost because I don't have an A/F meter. Hard to tell if you're rich or lean so how can you say what's a safe boost level? I would kill for a dyno, but am thinking an A/F meter is in my future.

I determined the boost level unsafe before I had my WBO2 by looking at injector duty cycle. It's MAXED (99-100%) on a stock turbo at 16psi. VF30 at 16+ psi would be MURDERING the injectors.

yea

so what injectors the sti would be alright.also what em reflash or would a apexi fc with fcd work as well?
