Okay my car is starting to get really hot, i was driving last night and i noticed my engine temp was really high so i puled over let it cool down and checked water level. It was realy low so i put water. Today i checked it out and lower radiator hose was crapped out but car is stil getting hot. I mixed coolant and water 50\50, topped off my oil, and changed that hose but my car is still getting hot, not as fast, but still getting hot. any suggestions??

After driving for a while, is your radiator hose full and hard to pinch?

 

what do you mean by this? so the lower hose was leaking? was it replaced? is the water leaking from anywhere else? if not then probably your water pump might of died really early. it should be under warrenty since your car is only 2-3 years old max. then again i don't know the warrenty for sentras.

 

Oh I changed out the lower radiator hose already. after i did everything the car doesn't get hot as fast and if i leave the heater on 1 it gets hot but doesn't reach the "H" line. I'm thinking that it's a bad radiator.

 

Thermostat? Clogged radiator core? Changed coolant recently? Fan not starting when it should? Not spinning as fast as it should? Debris in front of condenser?

Check the fan clutch, check the thermostat, and it may end up being a bad radiator...

 

fan works fine dunno if the thermostat is working correctly, can't be the water pump because it runs jus a little under the line when i have the heater on, If the pump wasn't working at all then i probably wouldn't last 5 minutes without it overheating all the way. Especially in town traffic. gonna check out the radiator today and see if it works. Thanks for the help guys
