Car Info: 03 wrx sliver
Help!

my car just shut off while i was driving. i was driving home normally and i hit a bump in the road and my car shut off then just turned back on. i checked the battery and its still connected good. what could be wrong?

well something is obviously shorting out.. i would start with ground straps or any ground that you can visually see for that matter

Ed, if this is the Rally Car, sounds like a loose connection. I had that same problem. You going to meat tonight?

im gonna look today at all the ground wires to see what happened. but no its not a rally car.

so i checked all my grounds and everything is good. i tried taking off the alarm to see if that was the problem and it didnt work then took off the turbo timer checked all the fuses. any ideas guys?

If it turned back on and it still runs, you are not going to find the problem for sure unless it happens again and doesn't start back up...period.

All anyone can do is guess.

Clean the bolts and terminals for both of your engine grounds, check fuel pump connection

If it isnt running, check the large fuse links behind the battery.

something similar happened to my old 91 Blazer and my 02' Saturn SC2. Turned out both times it was the Positive, in both cases immediatly after the under hood fuse box, in between the fuze box and the starter motor. From what I have read you have only checked the grounds. Give that a shot
