Exclamation Help!!

will i noticed that my car has been eating up alot more gas then normal.. i was wondering what could be the problem? could it be the new perrin pulley that was put in?

it's definately possible since it reduces the rotational mass on the crank. However, the gas that we have here in HI is ****ty. More methanol in the gas provides a higher octane rating but the gas burns to quickly

I've been running the Cobb Lightened Pulley..

for about 2 months now...(04 STI)...haven't seen a change in my mileage at all...I commute from Kaneohe into town everyday...whether I drive mellow or normal (heh heh), I still get around 18 mpg...if I go to Ewa or Mililani...I get around 20-22 mpg...

Like Jon said, our gas here is not so great...

try resetting your ECU...undo the positive terminal, pump on your brake pedal a few times...this will release any residual charge in your system...itwill idle rough for a bit until the ecu start to relearn...couple mile maybe...
