Got Tagged!!!
I wonder if the typical HPD officer wakes up in the morning and thinks:
1. I am going to go fight crime today...make the island a better place.
2. I am going to drive around and try to find cars I can ticket for B.S. stuff and let someone else fight the real criminals.

Yet another reason why I dont go to Waiks with my car. Damn rookie cops... they gots nothing better to do. I feel sorry for this one girl with her little honda. She got pulled over outside of the Trade Center once, and I believe it was for recon & other such stuff. Anyway, 7 cop cars showed up...7!!! Was even the more embarrassing because everyone was watching....
Ah well...

for real man. what's up with that stuff. ^^^
I got ticketed for my exhaust (not having recon) and when I called the recon office, after a few good minutes of answering personal and car questions, the lady told me exhaust doesn't require recon anymore. (So i've heard from other people as well). But now how come the cop still gave me the ticket and the 15 minute lecture about being responsible and getting recon? Hmm, maybe because it's not required?
blah blah blahhh

i got pulled over in kalihi near kam shopping center. kalihi is the last place i would expect to get pulled over... i don't drive my wagon to waikiki anymore.
btw, went out last night to the shack in hawaii kai and saw several patrol cars, all hiding in different spots on the side of the road... and right after work (10pm), went to go grab my car at kapiolani park, drove off, and from afar, i see an abandon van parked on the side of the road with this cop metering traffic with a speed gun. after passing the van, i see three more cops laughing like little queers, without any patrol cars or bikes to be in sight.

its an automatic instinct for option 2. option 1 only comes into action when they're all done playing the game of looking at each others *****.
