mine didnt work with the adaptor...

was really weird, as it was a sandisk card and adaptor...that combo worked fine in my camera, but the go-pro couldnt recognize there was a card in there...i had to just use a standard sd card...

 

damn i went through the whole checkout process to make sure it was the same price shipped to hawaii and it is. good find but way too late. $221 shipped, woulda saved me about $40, but i didnt check if they had spare batteries. oh well, im too lazy to cancel my other order and get on this one.

vendors need to hire me to advertise for them. they really do suck *****, only spreading the word on 1 or 2 car specific forums, for shet like this they need to be all over all kinds of car forums, surf forums, crazy skydiving guy forums, dirtbike, bicycle, EVERY other forum where people would use this.

 

i dunno if i trust ad's from craigslist tho..... I really want this.

 

yeah thats what i was thinkin too, the site it eventually takes you to seems legit i guess. got a bunch of racing and motorcycle stuff... i dunno. im sticking with my order.

 

ok if the HD offered in widelens and regualar? also i have to order the surfing kit separte if i want the motor kit also?

 

i think the HD is widelens only. and if you want both, i think it would be cheapest if you bought the surf kit then bought the suction cup mount (for car mounting) seperate. unless you really want those little 3M sticky mount thingies.

 

the HD version is a wide lens version but you can choose the output size i believe depending on your settings either 720, 960 or 1080

yeah buy the cheapest one (surf i think) and then buy the extra mounts you need

 

yeah i think how it works is in 1080 mode you only get 127º, and in the other modes you get the full wide at 170º

Yea, I was a bit hesitant at first as well but I searched the company to see if it advertises on any other sketchy sites but I was to find it advertising other motorcycle related items on some motorcycle forums. I guess we'll see. =P

 

i bought a standard gopro brand new never used for $100...SCORE!! i was thinking about mounting it on the bottom so the weight remains on the sticky as opposed to having it hanging with all the weight being supported by the sticky...

wish i could afford the HD...did get to purchase the last of the totsubo folding frt license plate...they said the guy got injured and he doesnt make the folding frt license plate frame...since the suby has one...and i like how it works....gonna put it on the stang...

 

my G5 has trouble viewing HD, doesn't that mean that i'd be running into problems editting HD as well?

 

the $221 shipped offer is the lowest deal I found on web so far.
but not sure if it's a fraud or true offer???
