a great point was just brought up on a GoPro forum, ill keep my standard def one and just set it to the staggered photo mode. it takes decent enough pics for the average guy like me!

just emailed a few places offering these cameras for $270 to get the final shipped price.
also noticed something funny 2 days ago, i put one in my cart on the GoPro website and proceeded to checkout just to get to the shipping portion to see how much and it said something like $34 for 2 day air so thats ~$333 shipped. then i exited the website, the next day i got an email from GoPro saying they noticed i didnt complete my order and, to keep my business they gave me a coupon code for 10% off so that should bring the total down to $303 shipped...
ill keep you guys posted on the cheapest i find to get these things shipped!

alright guys best deal i found so far so im going with it cuz theres a deadline. found a vendor on a toyota forum selling em for $269 shipped.
i emailed him and am gonna be paying about $288 for the motorsports kit and a spare battery shipped!!

sorry for any confusion guys. that thread that i linked to shows the regular price, further down in the thread he says email him for the lower pricing that hes not allowed to advertise. which is $269.99. its not a group buy price or anything, thats the price straight up shipped.
he emailed me earlier and confirmed that, and i got an extra battery for $17.99.
he asked if i could get him a few more customers and send one big payment and have him ship all the cameras to one address and he would give ME further discounts but thats a lot of hassle to deal with in a day and a half... and im lazy.
spread the word jon, i dont have anybody elses number besides yours and we dont have much more time to get these at that price with free shipping and all that good stuff.
just email george@raptorracing.com. dats da guy ive been dealing with for this. you can mention my name (Corey) to see if we can make this any easier/cheaper.
i suggested to him that, if possible, we could all just have our cameras shipped to one address to cut shipping costs on his end since he is giving us free shipping. we can use my address and we can work out deliveries and stuff from there. (ive always got free time too
) let me know fellas.

haha its all good, i just wanted to make sure the same guy would deal with all of us. hopefully george is the sales guy and that sales inbox isnt open to a bunch of nerds in their sales department. sorry if im making this more complicated than it has to be. i get nervous when i get excited hah!
