Hi, I'm asking a question for my dad because he's considering a job on Honolulu at the crime lab. He is looking for a simple apartment downtown until he passes is probationary period before picking out a permanent residence. Do you guys have any recommendations on where to live and approximate cost per month?

No recommendations but your dad is gonna be dropping about $1,000 to $1,500 for a 1 bedroom apartment.

Prices are outrageous here...comparable to the San Francisco Bay Area.
