Hey folks, i'm moving to the East Bay in a few months and looking at apt listings online. The deal is i landed a job at Eden Med Center in Castro Valley and looking at places no farther than a 30 min drive (under realistic conditions) from work due to call obligations. That kind of rules out the peninsula and so i'm looking north, south and east of this epicenter.

Other than craigslist, what other good sites are there for checking out apt listings, don't hesistate to come forth cause i'll be flying into town next week to look at places and hopefully sign a lease.

Well it's official, i've put down a deposit for a place in Oakland/Jack London Sq area. Looks nice and its a convinient quick commute to work for me. Thanks for everyone's help and suggestion, i'll be moving in july.

unless there's a faster inner city or 580 route, i'd think that would barely be a 30 min. commute given the bottleneck that usually occurs on 238 from 880.

 

Yup Ayapon has taken me to her mom's place before. Looks like i'll be one of the regulars now, lol
