The truth about i-speed...
Okay, so I get like 5pm's a week about i-speed, and why I ding them.
To be honest:
1. Chris. He is the main problem in this whole thing... He's the driving force behind i-speed, and he's a terrible, terrible person. Cut throat tactics, he's a know-it-all, when he doesn't know anything... and will do anything to get money.
2. Tuning... I used to think they did okay work with tuning and such, however, as of late old i-speed customers have come to local shops to get their car re-tuned, only to find them running like crap, and dangerously lean. How wonderful.
This thread you can say what you will... Good experiences, bad experiences... Since they are not a vendor here (Because Chris is an idiot, and Alex banned him).
Why hide behind the monitor, voice your experiences with I-speed... Do you want people really taking their hard earned cars there? So they can blow up... blow coil packs on dynos... etc, etc...
I'm getting tired of being asked, so if there's a thread I figure we can track it easier.

I gain 36 WHP with my Tune @ gruppe-s from my previous i-speed tune, not to mention my AFR seems to be way more safe and my power band is a lot smoother now and I am not hitting 20psi on pump gas anymore

w3rd, you're like the 15th person I've heard of... This is the thing I'd like to see... I don't want people to fall for their BS.
I mean, I'm not all pro-Mike or pro-Shiv... I know them, but this is besides the point. My personal tuning preference is irrelevant.
Sometimes I think they confuse the AFR and the torque curve... But that's only from what I've seen. Honestly, I don't like the bag on companies, but after talking with many dissatisfied customers, I would NEVER trust them with my car.

w3rd.
I really don't like bagging on companies either... I have to be really f'in irritated with their tactics, or utterly disatisfied in order to say something.

i ran that for quite a while with absolutely 0 problems, of course, the car wasn't tuned by i-speed.

Well in owning my Legacy and RS and just doing bolt on NA mods I've had no reason to ever go to i-speed. I've never bought anything from them or had any service performed by them. So I really don't have much to say about this issue. Though their 2.5 NA reflash is sort of iffy just because of the minimal gains from it, I don't think it was a product that needed to be released since people can get more out of their NA setup other ways.
