Here are some pictures I took.
The lip around the vent is pretty tall so no way water would be splashing over the side. Especially since my car was parked and not moving...
Took out the fan to get a better look.
Yep with the fresh air slider open you can see its a straight drop down from the vent.
After running some water over the windshield... sure enough.
My solution was to put some sealant on the plastic pin on the trim to create a better seal.

Just installed a hybrid model Process West TMIC and splitter.
I was planning on fabbing a splitter for months but after talking to Kevin at Process West he said he's done an intercooler/splitter design for swapped GC models.
Cool so i ordered one.
Came in the mail today and i had it installed within an hour.
Seeing it irl for the first time i was like wow this isn't much bigger than the STi one.
But looks are deceiving, the TMIC core goes all the way out to the top and bottom of the unit unlike the stock one. This particular hybrid model the core is sized for the GC STi and is slightly wider but shorter front to back between the end tanks. The intercooler also comes with a splitter that creates a seal and directs air properly through the core from the hood scoop.
The difference to say the least is very noticeable, the car is even more linear now in it's power delivery. Also it feels as if i gained back some torque down low, its a bit more punchy in the low revs improving drivability. Part throttle response, transient boost and boost recovery is even more awesome. idk why i didn't do this upgrade sooner...

Front right wheel bearing went bad and as a result its been having severe pad knockback after turning the wheel. Brake pedal goes to the floor. Which was probably why at the Test and Tune ppl were saying how my brakes were grabbing late.
Replacement wheel bearings on the way, hopefully I can get them in and changed b4 sunday.

Yes the knuckle is modded to fit 04 and prior suspension. The 05 hub is re-drilled for 5x100 bolt pattern.
04 hub on top w/bearing that needs to be pressed into the housing.
05 hub below with a larger bearing in its own cartridge/hub assembly that bolt into the housing.
I'll race Sat but I think I'm gonna sit out AutoX for a while.
At least until I get R-comps and the new knuckles in.
