Blinking CEL!!!

Hey guys just got a blinking CEL when I was driving home (less than 1 mile away from my house). It just started blinking then all of a sudden it went away. What could have caused this? I was at a stop light shortly before it happened I got on the gas when the car was in 1 then i shifted to 2 at about 5000 then so on and so on. I let off in the middle of 3 since the CEL started to blink (I didn't have a CEL before the blinking). About 45 seconds later it just disappeared! . When I got home I took out my neighbors OBD-II scanner and there was no CEL on or pending... So weird!

What could this be?

About a week earlier I stuck a 2.2K Ù resister into my uppipe connecter since I kept getting P0546 CEL (I think that's the number). My CEL hasn't come back since but I notice that the car feels really really really ****ty! Only today the car felt great when I drove it to work today!

Can anyone shine some light on this?

Jon

sounds like a mis-fire CEL. That's what happened the first time I got it. Flashed and then disappeared. Later it got much worse. Check your plug wires.

Of Course, I could be completely wrong about this.

Or you could be right. I've been wanting to replace my plugs for sometime now. I do however have 1 degree colder plugs installed already. I just didn't change them when I got my Stage 4 installed
