http://www.iwsti.com/forums/2-5-lite...s-gt35r-7.html came across a great thread with different opinions
stets,
I'm not going to sway you from one turbo or another, but you really should get a ride in a car with a larger turbo than a 20G. Just for the experience.
I drove an STi with a rotated setup with EWG, and man, what a rush at the top end. Almost life changing.
But if your style of driving is 0-60, then the 20 is the way to go. You get nice git up and go but not so much at the top end on the 20.
Both types of turbos are designed for different styles of driving preference.
Good luck in your quest for your perfect turbo!

Be sure to decal with an "AiNoKea" Sticker, or you ain't doinnnnn it right! Easy +2hp.
On a more serious note- Might sound like a broekn record, but it all comes down to your driving preference. Get a ride with someone!
Best of luck!

you can boost safe with a rotated kit. I myself will be running a rotated kit once I can get around to installing the damn thing. with help of another member and looking at tons of data rotated is the way to go.

to many people get caught up in "oh I don't want to run X amount of boost because my internals can't handle it" (including myself once upon a time). while this is partially true there are other factors involved. its not only about boosting safely you gotta think about running the most timing and leaner afr's with out knock.
with that being said a stock location turbo can be just as dangerous as a rotated setup. its all really in your tune. personally, (from dumping large amounts of money on mods) if i was to do it over again I would go rotated to begin with on my stock motor and run a conservative tune till i built my motor.
