I will have a Deadbolt TD06 18G available shortly. same if not better spool but definetly more top end than a vf39. if you want to go bigger your wallet is your limit. but you have ask yourself first what do you want out of your car first.

Depends on your goals. How much HP you want? Bigger the turbo the more lagg you will get.

I went from a custom 16GIII, 18, 20 and now a FP Green turbo.

In my experience, if you want (almost) instant boost, go with the 16, 18 and 20. Attainable power exceeds 300 and up to 330-40whp I think with your setup. Your gas mileage worsens because you are always in boost. I went down to almost 12mpg average and that sucks because boost is very addictive. REAL fun though from standing still.

I'm currently tuned with a FP Green and managed well over 400whp.. it's a fun ride and my mileage is back up in the happy 18-19mpg range. The turbo kit arriving next week should be my last one. It's bigger and much more efficient than my current one.

You may want to upgrade your injectors to DW850s though...

Good Luck with your build!

12 mpg?

you must have been boost happy or you had a really crappy tune. personally I have had one bad tune and the others were really good and I maintained good gas mileage (granted I wasn't boosting).

Yes, I was very boost happy. Thus my poor 12mpg performance.

The tune was that good.

My car was tuned with Hawaii's best 92 gas and 50/50 meth.

431whp/463wtq. The car is bottoming out at WOT so 9K springs are in order and awaiting installation when we have time.

I am hoping the next one will hit 450whp with the exact same setup and boost. Then I will be golden.

Must be high reading dyno, no way that turbo would make that on mustang dyno with 92oct.
