From: now on, things are gonna change around here!
a lot of the problems being reported have to do with the delivery person..at least for ups and fedex....in the end there are responsible people and irresponsible people, and if the guy/girl delivering on your route sucks, you're screwed.

Well, the UPS guy who stole it should be the one accountable, but they're never gonna find him. UPS called me the other day asking about the empty box and to describe to them what the contents looked like. It seems that they're gonna try and look for the thing! Huh? Excuse me, but don't you think the dp is under someone's car by now? Whatever. I just hope that my vendor will hurry and get me a replacement soon. I wanna upgrade the car so bad, it hurts!

I know what you mean! I'd patronize the local stores more if the difference in final price wasn't so outrageous!
Yeah!!! this is why i dont like to order. you wait so long and you also have to worry about so many things. And buying from stores would be way better the damn prices sometimes.

Wow! I thought my thread had died. Good to still hear comments, though. I posted the same thing on NASIOC, and got more than 800 hits, with a bunch of testimonies and stories from dudes across the country. Nino was cool and just sent another dp. It was a pita for him to go through the claim, though.
WRX151, so who's the guilty party here? Is it the warehouse dudes at the airport? Is it the delivery guy? Is it the bums on the mainland who are loading and unloading? I recently had another package shipped UPS, and my brother, who received the delivery, said that the driver said with a smile, "This one's not empty!" Bee-awch.
Call me a saint, but something's gotta be done about this five finger b.s.

Who Could it Be???

Well, to be honest, every large corporation w/ a bunch of under paid frontline guys will have some sort of pilferage. However, I would have to say, that it is relatively difficult to sneak parts larger than what you could fit in a pocket out of the security gate at the hub gate. Security is pretty tight and they bag check everyone. It is also a strong possibility that the contents were taken by someone like a neighbor. I can't say for sure, just a possiblility. Anyway, good luck in getting the situation taken care of. Again, let me know if I can be of help.

Dude, that's a driver release. You can definitley complain about it and UPS is still liable. Where was this? In Hawaii?
