Which ATF for 05 4EAT FXT?

Which ATF for 05 4EAT FXT?
Read thru the forester forums and searched i club, but looking for personal experiences for atf fluid on my 05 FXT.
Going to do atf fluid change (4qt drain/fill) and forester forums recommends Subaru atf as the best replacement. I have a 05 amd car didnt come with the owners manual, so i take it Subaru's atf is their DexronIII version, different from Subaru atf-HP for 06 and up.
Also, what have you been using for atf? Synthetic or conventional? Best place to by and prices help too. Found that Redline at Waikamilo closed so I got my Redline 75-90w diff fluids at Napa Aiea for $14/qt.
They didnt have any atf i was familiar with, s I passed on that.

Btw, got another qt of Redline 75w-90 at mapunapuna Napa for $11/qt which is cheaper than Aiea by Cutter Ford. Got my Amsoil Universal ATF at Chuck's Corvette by queen St for under $12/qt. Was set to do fluid change when the rain came,..hioefully tomorrow is sunny, but supposed to be the same weather...
