I'm all for the 2.5 liter...I love having extra tourque and having an engine that is a little more flexible.

It just would be nice to have the choice between the 2.0L wrx and the 2.5L STi

I'd rather they dump some R&D into making a good 5speed tranny for the WRX instead of messing with the engine. A 5speed design off the 6speed tranny would be great.

Talking A little off topic

I am new to the Turbo/ Suby world...

Used to own an european car like VW, and drove my parents' Mercedes.

Amazed that the US have a different market for automobiles. Thought that I could have the same STi here and back in my country, Tahiti.

Kinda disappointed about the whole difference in Engine...but the price is actually better in the US.

In my country, I would not hit a STi at all, way too expensive, I would rather get a BMW or Mercedes or VW.

anyway, lucky to drive a USDM STi here...
