Sup all, just picked up a new black rex a month ago. JUST broke 1k miles on the car, took off my paper plates on Tuesday, and someone backed into my passenger side fender on Wednesday.
I'm so ticked right now. Anyhow the question is if anyone has advice on where to bring this to for repair. I went to Dent Doctors and they told me that because of where it is, they couldn't push it out and it would need body work.
Also what do you all think: fix or replace? The dent goes from behind the headlight to the top of the wheelwell.

Is there any damage to the lights? Bumper? Door seam area? Hood?

Nope... The damage is only on the fender. Luckily they missed the headlamp by a few inches and it was a high thin bumper (SUV or truck) so it also missed my bumper. And it's Java Black (I think it's the same as the STI)... that gold flecked black.

oem paint might be hard to find... we painted a civic using the subaru java black(paint code18L)... napa sells a gallon for around 200 bucks or so and the reducer/clear is extra unless you already have it. if you don't need that much i think u can buy just a quart or so...
Just curious, but were you parked in one of those stalls at the mall where you're in a "parallel parking" type of stall, which is also perpendicular to regular lane stalls? Do you know which stalls I'm talking about?
Anyway, regardless, I always try to avoid those because I know some dummy is going to be careless while backing out, and whip his rear into my car.
As for autobody work, I hear that United does quality work. A little on the expensive side, but they are excellent.

Nah, I'm always careful in public parking with this and my previous car. It happened at work, but I don't know that I'll get anyone from any of the offices next door to come clean
